Mickilooz the pirate! Playin on the playground in the campground in Waves, North Carolina, on the Outer Banks!
Here’s another picture of Mickilooz from last summer, outside of the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse, the tallest brick lighthouse in America! This amazing lighthouse has a very important history, guarding and directing the ships off the coast of North Carolina through the Graveyard of the Atlantic. It’s withstood hurricanes, earthquakes, and the threat of the ocean over its lifetime. It was even moved in 1999 over 2,000 feet inland to protect it from the ocean. The lighthouse still stands tall and proud today, and Mickilooz loved getting to see it, learn its history, and climb to the top for the amazing views!
It’s been awhile! But Mickilooz, the Mickey Mouse Pookalooz, is makin a comback! He has some really exciting trips planned this summer, including heading back to his magical kingdom in Florida, and the annual gathering of nerds and otaku in Balitmore.
Just as a friendly reminder, Mickilooz is really good friends with Paige and Joe, who take him on all of their adventures, wherever they go!
So here’s a picture of Mickilooz at the beach on Hatteras Island, North Carolina in the meantime, and we’re all really looking forward to sharing new memories! Adventure is out there!

Mickilooz also spent a lot of time sitting in the forest at Longwood Gardens, listening to the birds and the wind. It was a very relaxing day for Mickilooz, and he enjoyed himself immensely.
Mickilooz especially loved the Meadow at Longwood Gardens. It was great to escape to such a quiet, peaceful place with so much open land. It was definitely his favorite part of the day!
Mickilooz really loved all the awesome fountains at Longwood Gardens, they made him feel like he was somewhere in Europe.

Mickilooz showed his support for the American Cancer Society this weekend at the local Relay for Life. Mickilooz helped raise money to support cancer research by selling baked good and cancer awareness ribbons. It was a very moving weekend for everyone, and Mickilooz had a great time supporting a great cause.
